Our Tag and Test Service

BCM offer an electrical appliance testing service (tag and test) to a range of local businesses and organisations, including schools and other educational providers, sole traders, international food manufacturers, multi-site development companies, as well as the construction and automotive industry.

We customise our service and pricing to meet your individual compliance requirements.

Our onsite tag and test service provides an initial visual inspection, electronic testing using Seaward PAT tester and the secure application of a label, clearly identifying the test date and subsequent re-test date.

We also provide:

  • Residual Current Device (RCD) testing
  • Notification of ongoing testing requirements based on recommended re-testing intervals
  • Post visit testing report
  • Safety certificate
  • Minor free repairs noticed on visual inspection, i.e. rewiring of plugs, tightening of loose screw, etc.
  • Single and three phase testing
  • Free re-testing after recommended repairs
  • Hazard identification and site risk assessment with photographic reporting
  • Optional asset register with individual numbered identification of appliances
  • Out of hours testing (evenings and weekends)
  • Written quotes normally within 24 hours after site visit
